Silhouette Factory

The Silhouette factory is, simply explained, a pop-up darkroom, where we create everlasting shadows of objects.

We created the Silhouette factory by the demand of Bugaboo, a dutch stroller company. For an international event, a interactive installation was needed that fitted in an Andy Warhol theme with the punchline “Turning everyday objects into art”. We took this quite literally, while asking people to empty their pockets and place their daily objects on the lightsensitive paper. Only a flash of light is needed to immortalize their pocket contents. A few seconds to turn daily objects into art.

For the New York Bugaboo event we created a personal placemat for all the guests.
